Here's something I found out recently and didn't know!

All cars (apparently) have a little arrow next to the fuel indicator on the dashboard, showing which side the petrol cap is. Here's a pic of the dash on ours, sure enough there's an arrow and the cap is on the left.

Neato if you drive different cars frequently!

I've heard this one before...unfortunately it's not always the case and it definately isn't on my Honda...would be really cool though if it was true for all cars...save me making a prat of myself when I forget I'm in the missuses car and pull up at the wrong side of the pump..

You know what...I'm wrong, I was curious so went out and had another look at the Honda and it does have an arrow next to the fuel pump symbol....I stand corrected! shows how much attention I pay to that part of the dash when driving....probably too busy looking out for speed cameras!
